Policies

Payments, Refunds, Cancellation Policies

It is the student’s responsibility to research their local and state laws regarding licensing and operation. AAC Training, LLC is in no way responsible for legal advice regarding laws that govern your city/county, state or country.

Due to Covid-19, all retail sales are final. All AAC machines come with a 6 month warranty.

Courses: Final payment is due two weeks prior to your class start date. Once final payment is received, you will receive your pre-course work to complete. This may include the link to your Blood-borne Certification, downloadable presentations, and or downloadable forms for your review and completion prior to class.

Students are required to provide their own models. AAC is in no way responsible for providing models for students even if AAC model search support is extended.

If you have purchased a course and wish to receive a refund, you will need to give at least 3 weeks’ notice prior to your course date. We will then retain the retail course deposit and refund any remaining amount. Cancellations made two weeks prior to any class start date are subject to refund excluding any deposit and will incur a transaction fee. Refunds will not be made for any cancellation made within 2 weeks prior to the course start date. Course transfers require at least a two-week notice. Any course transfers are subject to a non-waiverable fee of $150.00, all refunds are subject to a 4% transaction fee. If you have taken any of our courses and want to receive a refund, please note that there are no refunds on any of our courses after we have given you the complete training. We will, however, do our best to make sure you are supported and are successful in the completed course.
– If the student cancels the day of training (no refund)
– If the student gets halfway through a class and cannot finish for some reason (no refund)

I grant the Academy of Advanced Cosmetics its representatives, and employees the right to take photographs and/or video footage of me and my property in connection with the above-identified subject. I authorize the Academy of Advanced Cosmetics to use and publish the videos/photos in print and/or electronically. I agree that the Academy of Advanced Cosmetics may use such photographs of me with or without my name and for any lawful purpose. My electronic or in-person signature and or initials are my legal and ethical agreement. I have read and understood the above.

CLASS INFORMATION

All classes start promptly at 9:00am-5:00pm. Atlanta traffic can be a struggle at times. Please make sure you allow yourself enough time to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start of class time. This will give you time to get comfortable, turn in any last-minute items and allow for all students to be in their seat so the class will start on time without interruption to others.  If you are running late, please let us know. We are in the Georgetown on the Perimeter Building, located behind the Kroger Plaza, next to the I285 Highway.

COPYRIGHTS, TRAINING MANUALS & INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

AAC training materials, including online training, self- paced or classroom training manuals, and training exercises, are protected by copyright, and cannot be used by you, or any other party, without express permission from AAC. AAC is the author and is entitled to own the copyrights and intellectual property derived therefrom training manuals, downloadable forms, books, films, lectures, online courses, curriculum, and any other copyrightable materials of whatever nature or kind and in whatever format developed by Feleshia Sams and or AAC. I agree to NOT: replicate course materials, forms, manuals, training courses, or any intellectual property gained from AAC for any reason. Should I misplace or lose my training manual, AAC is not responsible or obligated to sell me an additional training manual, should AAC provide an additional manual it is subject to a fee.

DOCUMENTATION, PRE-COURSE WORK, POSTCOURSEWORK & CERTIFICATION

If you take a course that requires submission of pre-course work all documents must be presented prior to the start of class. All course excluding lash extensions requires the completion of a blood-borne certification course. No Exceptions! It is the student responsibility to complete any required pre-course work issued by AAC. If for some reason the instructor feels like your work is not up to par and does not meet the industry beginner standards we have the right not to award certification. However, we will continue to work with you in order to improve your skills. Post-coursework may be required to get your final certification.

DRESS CODE

We suggest wearing scrubs or business casual. Closed toes shoes MUST be worn. ABSOLUTELY NO open toe sandals or flip-flops allowed. ALL BLACK CLOTHING SUGGESTED.

RULES & REGULATIONS

Due to insurance liability, no one may accompany you to the classroom other than your model; no unattended children are allowed, guests under 18 years old may stay unattended in our lobby. Your models must be at least 18 years of age to participate as a model for you.

NO CELL PHONES ARE TO BE USED OR TAKEN OUT DURING CLASS.

We have a no cell phone policy as a courtesy to others, we ask that you turn off or put on silent all cell phones. If you need to use the phone for an emergency, please step out to the lobby to use your phone. Cell phone use is allowed for before and after pictures of your models ONLY.

NO FOOD OR BEVERAGES ARE PERMITTED IN THE CLASSROOM.
Lunch break is one hour, please make sure that you arrive back promptly as to ensure the class will resume on time without disturbances. Bottled water will be provided.

Please make sure that at the end of each day of training you clean your station area, and throw away any garbage. Make sure your barrier film is removed from lights, carts and work area and disposed of. This is apart of your hands on safety and sanitation training.

FAQ

How do I enroll in a class?

To enroll in a class, you can go to the course you are interested in and select the date you would like and add it to your cart.  You will then be able to checkout and pay your nonrefundable deposit of 20% of the class.

How long is each class?

Each class starts at 9:00am and ends around 5:00pm.  Some classes may go over longer depending on the number of students and the amount of questions so please plan to attend the entire duration of the class.

What should I bring to my class with me?

When arriving to class make sure to bring something to write on, write with, and a device to take before and after pictures.  You will also need to bring an ID card to check in the first day of class. NO RECORDING OF THE CLASS WILL BE ALLOWED

Will I be able to work on a live model?

All of our classes allow for you to work on a live model.  Students are ultimately responsible for providing their own model.  However, if you are in need of a model the Academy will work on providing you one for a fee.  Please contact us (770) 751-9881 for more information on our model program.

What Licenses and Certifications do I need prior to taking a class?

Our courses do not require you to have prior certifications and license to enroll in our courses.  If you are enrolling in a permanent makeup course (PMU, Microblading, Lips, Liner, Scar Camo, Areola, Paramedical, SMP, or Ombre) we will apply for a temporary tattoo license to allow you to work on a live model in our facility.  However, it is recommended for you to check your local requirements for licenses in the area where you plan to work.  Some states do require either a cosmetology or esthetician license to do eyelash extensions.
